Mosquitoes are a nuisance pest. But more importantly, they can transmit a variety of diseases such as West Nile Virus, LaCrosse Encephalitis, Western Equine Encephalitis, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, or St. Louis Encephalitis. Mosquitoes can also transmit several diseases and parasites to dogs and horses such as dog heart worm and Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
MaxPro Pest Control offers a few options depending on your situation.
Scheduled Seasonal Treatment
With MaxPro’s scheduled treatments, a technician will stop out at your property every 21-28 days, depending on rain fall, to apply a barrier chemical treatment using special equipment designed to apply the chemical in areas that mosquitoes rest during the day such as surrounding foliage that harbor mosquitoes. It is very important for you to remove as much standing water as possible, such as bird baths, garbage cans, coolers, etc.
Special Event Treatments
If you are planning a special event such as a wedding, family reunion, graduation, birthday, or other special event, MaxPro Pest Control can help. A MaxPro technician will stop out 24-48 hours prior to the event to apply a residual barrier chemical treatment intended to reduce the population prior to your event. It is important that you give us at least 48 hours notice for this treatment to be effective.
